El Alux, somewhere spectacular for dinner
El Alux is in a truly spectacular location. Not only because it's underground, but because it is an underground cave which we here in Mexico call a cenote.
It is complete with stalactites, stalagmites and a little lagoon that is lit by a blue light that illuminates the waterfall, the sound of which adds to the ambiance, almost as much as the live music does. One might say that it is very dark, which it is, but visitors should expect this along with the slightly rocky and uneven floor, both small drawbacks truly worth enduring to eat dinner in a cenote.

Prices for eating are more or less from $75 pesos to $250 pesos.
Some examples:
Starters:
carpaccios $95 pesos
Crepas mayas $ 75 pesos
Sopa azteca $70 pesos
Saladas: from $ 80 pesos to $ 175 pesos
Fish: from $ 175 pesos to $480 pesos (lobster!)
Meat: around $200-250 pesos, depending on the meat (the have rib-eye, arrachera,also chicken…)
Specials: For example " Parrillada de mariscos" (for 2 people) $ 650 pesos
Desserts: around $55 pesos
Drinks, it depends on what you order. A glass of wine is around $ 50 or $ 70 pesos, cocktails around $ 100 pesos.

Hi, I would recomend you to visit Taco-Libre in av. Colosio between 35av and 40av. They serve carnitas, tacos, tortas, cochinita pibil and traditional mexican desserts.
